Green Box Ltd meets the requirements of Carbon Warranty Neutral Certification and the ISO14064-1 specification with guidance at the organisational level for the quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removal in accordance with the principles of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
The greenhouse gas emissions from Green Box Ltd where identified using an operational control approach. The emissions are those produced transporting and when required packing the Green Boxes, administration and management.
Measurement Period and Base Year
The first measurement period is for 1st December 2013 to 31 March 2014. Subsequent measurement periods will be for the 12 month period from 1st April – 31st March.

Green Box have pre-purchased 250 tonnes of carbon credits and will report their greenhouse gas emissions quarterly and offset their quarterly emissions using the pre-purchased credits. Maintaining a position of being in carbon credit.

Threshold of materiality
Excluded emissions do not exceed 5% of the total footprint and no individual emission source exceeded 1% of the total footprint for the organisation boundary stated.
