Who’s next? What’s next? Greenbox! We are excited to have made the Next List 2025 alongside organisations leading New Zealand’s sustainability transformation.
The Next List is an annual list of entrepreneurs, innovators, projects and organisations that are finalists in the Sustainable Business Awards. Sustainable Business Network is New Zealand’s largest sustainable business organisation.
The Next List showcases New Zealand’s leading sustainable innovators. Greenbox is a finalist in the Disruptive Innovation category ‘for bold, scalable products, services or technologies embedding sustainability and circular economy thinking.’ SBN describes disruptive innovations as groundbreaking products, services, technologies and business models designed with sustainability and circular economy principles at their core – organisations that are challenging linear systems and promote a future where nature and people thrive. Greenbox is part of this blueprint for a better world: radical elimination of waste, resource reuse, reduced emissions, and a natural world restored to abundance.
The finalist award is validation of a quarter-century spent proving that e-waste doesn’t have to be waste at all. Since 2000, we’ve watched cleantech evolve from a fringe idea to an economic imperative. This recognition reminds us why we started and why the next 25 years matter even more. Australia and New Zealand generate millions of tonnes of e-waste annually. We’re here to radically reduce that number. An Awards ceremony announces winners and commendations on 20 November 2025 at MOTAT’s Aviation Hall in Auckland.
Making the Next List in New Zealand is a fantastic way for Greenbox to celebrate 25 years pioneering cleantech solutions in the circular economy.
